Plinko Aztec: how to play, rules and odds
Plinko Aztec is a free Plinko game on Loot Yeti that runs in a phone browser. Balls bounce down a temple staircase of pins into slots that pay a multiplier of the bet per ball. The centre slot charges the Sun Wheel, and bounces off the sun discs charge the arch for a free-ball bonus.
How do you play Plinko Aztec?
- Choose a bet per ball and 10, 20 or 50 balls per drop. The stake for a drop is the bet per ball times the number of balls.
- Press the green button. Every ball bounces down 12 rows of pins (6 at the top, 17 at the bottom) into one of 15 targets.
- Each target pays the bet per ball times its multiplier, from 0.2× next to the centre to 100× at the edges.
- The centre SPIN target pays nothing by itself but charges the Sun Wheel meter: 6 hits with 10 balls, 10 hits with 20 balls and 23 hits with 50 balls, all in one drop. A full meter spins the Sun Wheel once the balls land.
- Bounces off the 3 sun discs charge the arch: 43 bounces with 10 balls, 40 bounces with 20 balls and 100 bounces with 50 balls. A full arch starts the free-ball bonus.
Plinko Aztec rules and controls
- Each Sun Wheel sector pays the bet per ball times 0.5×, 1×, 2×, 5×, 10×, 20× or 100×, except one that opens the free-ball bonus.
- Free-ball bonus: a wheel awards 20 to 100 free drops at the same bet per ball. Finishing the drops with a full level ring adds 10 more drops with twice as many balls each, up to 256 balls. A Gold Wheel inside the bonus pays 0.5× to 100×.
- The arch's charge is kept separately for each bet and ball-count combination.
- A drop costs 0.20 to 200.00 in play money. One drop can win at most 20,000.00, bonus included.
- Auto play repeats a drop 5 to 100 times and pauses for the bonus. Fast game speeds up the balls and never changes results.
- Each drop's outcome, bonus included, is fixed when the balls are released, from HMAC-SHA256 of a server seed, your client seed and a round counter. The bet history reveals each seed, so every drop can be checked.

Plinko Aztec has a return to player (RTP) of 98%, so the house edge is 2%. Each ball lands like 15 fair coin flips: slot k, counted from the left edge (0 to 15), has a chance of C(15, k) / 2^15. The two middle slots form the SPIN target.

Before a drop's win is rounded to the cent and capped, the targets alone return 77.71% of each ball's bet. The Sun Wheel and the free-ball bonus make up the rest of the 98%. The chance that one drop spins the Sun Wheel is 15.4% with 10 balls, 22.4% with 20 balls and 20.3% with 50 balls.
